See a large selection of antique cars
at the vintage Car Museum, located at Perry's Cave Family Fun
Center. Many of these same vehicles may be seen in the weekly Sunday Afternoon Car Parade. Admission is free. The museum includes a vintage snowmobile. More
Ohio Department of Natural Resources operates the state's
Aquatic Resources Visitor Center. Live fish exhibits. Hands on displays. Free fishing program for kid's, free bait and tackle. Free admission. 10 am to 5 pm. Memorial Day through Labor Day. Closed Sunday & Monday.
Blue
Cottage Gallery features the work of island and area
artists and other artists who have a connection to Ohio
or the Lake Erie Islands. Located on the north side of
Harbor Village in a blue cottage and directly across the
street from the Perry Memorial Visitor Center. 
The Put-in-Bay Butterfly House at Perry's Cave is a unique habitat featuring a large variety of butterflies. Walk among the exotic butterflies while enjoying the plants and
flowers in the large atrium. Also visit the Antique Car Museum,
Fort Amazen, Gem Mining, Cave tour & War of 18 Holes.
The Chocolate Cafe is located in the old Dailey's Tavern building, a 10-minute walk from downtown. Open daily 7 am to 10:30 pm May through September. Chocolate museum, gifts & souvenirs. Golf cart rental offers a free pound of chocolate with a daily rental.
Crystal Cave, the world's largest recorded geode, is located directly beneath Heineman Winery. Cave tour is included with tour of the winery. Tour costs $5 for adults and $2 for kids six years old to 11. Children five and under are admitted free.
Purchase a bag of dirt at the Perry Cave Gift Shop & pan for treasure at the Gem Mining Sluice. A fun activity for children and adults. Compare the gems you find with the stones on display at the survey station to discover which gems you'll be taking home.
New
in 2006 at Perry's Cave Family Fun Center is Fort
Amaze'n. This challenging maze can be reconfigured so it
changes over time. Compete against your friends, or try
to beat your best time. Punch you passport at the
beginning and end to see your results.
Heineman Winery was established in 1888 and is still operated by the Heineman family. Tours of the winery & Crystal Cave are $5 for adults, $2 for kids 6 to 11 & free to those younger. Complimentary
sample of wine or grape juice after the tour. Wine & juice for sale by the bottle. Snacks also. More
Kayak
the Bay, LTD., located on Bayview Avenue, on the
waterfront adjacent to Wharfside, offers single and double sit-in
and sit-on-top kayaks. Explore the downtown Put-in-Bay
harbor for some easy kayaking or get more adventurous &
go to some nearby islands. Open Daily, 10 a.m. until
dark.
Kimberly's Carousel is a 1917 Allen Herschel machine built in North Tonawanda, NY. The crown of the merry-go-round is decorated with panels of historical island scenes painted by island artist Jane
Coates. All wood horses and menagerie animals. Tickets are $1.50.
The Lake Erie Islands Historical Society offers a glimpse into Put-in-Bay's past. 6,000 square feet of display area. Located on Catawba Avenue behind the Town Hall. History film & the impressive Horton
model ship collection. Adult, $1. Kids, 50 cents. Open daily.
Mother
of Sorrows Catholic Church is located on Catawba Avenue
across from St. Paul's Episcopal Church. During the
summer Mother of Sorrows celebrates Mass on Saturday
evening at 6 pm and on Sunday morning at 10 am. The church invites everyone to attend services.
Historical documents show that Commodore Perry used the underground stream in Perry's cave for his drinking water during the War of 1812. The water is 50 degrees year-round. Narrated cave tour is $6 for
adults, $2.50 for kids 6-12. Children 5 & under free (w/adult).
Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial is a constant reminder of the long-lasting peace between the United States and Canada. The 352-foot Doric column has an observation platform
that offers a spectacular view of the surrounding
islands. $3 for adults,
children 15 & younger are admitted free. Also a free
movie at the visitor center.
Captain
Jason Hall gives adventurers a "bird's eye view of
Put-in-Bay's downtown harbor & the surrounding islands.
Put-in-Bay Parasail leaves from the Boardwalk Dock
downtown. Group rate. Call ahead for reservations and
for current price. Fun attraction for the entire family.
Rent
a jet ski or a small jet boat and "get wet on a jet" at
South Bass Island State Park this summer. Put-in-Bay
Watercraft Rentals is open 11 am to 6 pm Tuesday through
Sunday. The jet ski rental is located at the dock in the
waterfront parking lot. Only jet ski rental on the
island. 
The Put-in-Bay Yacht Club is one of the oldest clubs on the Great lakes. Hosts of the Inter-Lake Yachting Association's annual Regatta for more than 110 years, PIBYC offers members food and beverage service
and is available for rent. AYC & I-LYA welcome. 
Saunders Golf Course is the site of the annual Put-in-Bay Chamber of Commerce 5-Iron Golf Classic. A fun par-3, nine-hole challenge. The course is located across from South Bass Island State Park. Greens
fees are $10, golf club rental is $10. No carts on the course.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church is located on Catawba Avenue, across the street from Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. St. Paul's worship service begins at 10 am on Sunday. Also Sunday School. Coffee hour after
services. Public is welcome to attend.
The Stonehenge Estate is listed on the National Register of Historical Places
& is most likely Put-in-Bay's best kept secret. Take a self-guided cassette tour of the beautifully restored stone farmhouse and wine
press cottage. Gift shop. Adults, $7. Kids, 6-15, $4. Park inside gate.

The Put-in-Bay Tour Train is one of the best ways to see the island. Enjoy the ride & a 55-minute narrated tour that stops at Perry's Cave, Heineman Winery, Perry Memorial and the Lake Erie Islands Historical Museum. Adults, $10 and kids,
6-11, $3. Also part of
